Welcome to Albany Indian!

ImageAfter a long struggle to find a good useful community website for Asian Indians, I decided to start my own website which is dedicated to serve the Indians living in Capital District Area (Including Albany, Schenctady, Troy and other neighboring counties). I just began developing this site so please be patient to see all the local information on this site. Also if possible please try to furnish some information related to local Indian organizations, events, businesses articles etc to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Hope this will help put atleast some of us together.

Albany is the jewel in New York's crown. Albany has nice Indian community of around 10000 people. Capital district consists of various nice schools for kids and one of the safest places in upstate new york.

ImageFor the sports enthusiast, there is hockey, football and basketball at the Times Union Center Arena, baseball at nearby Heritage Park or, in August, the thoroughbred racetrack at Saratoga. The City is also noted for its annual Tulip Festival in May and for its free Alive-at-Five concert series at the Corning Preserve on the riverfront in the summer.

Please explore the pages found in this section to plan your next trip to the beautiful Capital City of New York State.
